Point Fund Tops $12,000; Over $90,000+ Up For Grabs in 2023

Shippenville, PA (Mar 7th, 2023) – Western PA Speedweek is upping the ante in 2023 with more than $90,000 set to be distributed during the five-race miniseries between feature winnings + tow money, race night bonuses, contingency awards, Hoosier tire giveaways and point fund monies. The 2023 Western PA Speedweek point fund eclipses the $12,000 mark and will be shared amongst the Top 10 drivers in the weekly rundown. As has become customary, the point fund is fully guaranteed as long as three or more races are completed. While the top three spots pay identical to 2022, positions fourth through ninth will each receive a pay raise.

At first glance, the previously announced nightly feature purse does resemble last year’s $3,000 to win, $300 to start structure. Upon closer examination, payout has been increased for positions 3rd-12th, many of which are improving by 20-30%. Also returning for 2023 are the renowned Knox Bakery “Quick Time” award, Rustler Sales and Service “Hard Charger” award, The Dirt Network’s “Week Long Hard Charger”, a nightly drawing for a free Hoosier RR Tire, along with one other new and exciting contingency to be released in the coming weeks.

HOOSIER TIRE GIVEAWAY:
Certificate for one free Hoosier RR Tire drawn at each night’s driver’s meeting. Must be maintaining perfect attendance to be eligible.

QUICK TIME AWARD presented by THE KNOX BAKERY:
$200 minimum each night

HARD CHARGER AWARD presented by RUSTLER SALES AND SERVICE:
$200 minimum each night

WEEK LONG HARD CHARGER AWARD presented by THE DIRT NETWORK:
$500 to the driver passing the most cars during the course of the week

HARD LUCK AWARD presented by PITTSBURGH RACING NOW:
$50 minimum each night
