Lockhart Raceway to Offer “Jackpot” Award for Western PA Speedweek Competitors

Shippenville, PA (Apr 26th, 2023) – Lockhart Raceway and Western PA Speedweek officials are proud to introduce the newly minted “Lockhart Raceway Jackpot” award to be presented nightly during this summer’s five-race speedweek grind. Lockhart Raceway owner and promoter Joe Lockhart has become a staunch supporter and participant involved with various dirt racing disciplines, and is excited to take the next step with Western PA Speedweek by offering up this additional reward.

The new bonus program will award $100 each night to the highest finishing driver displaying the Lockhart Raceway logo on both the left and right sides of their top wing. No attendance requirements will factor in, meaning that all drivers will be eligible for the bonus each night. Decals will be available for pickup each night at the driver’s meeting.

Located in Seneca, PA, Lockhart Raceway has quickly become the premier karting facility in northwest Pennsylvania. Their state-of-the-art dirt track and amenities host multiple classes of go-kart racing every Thursday and Saturday night beginning in June and running every week through August! With the regional racing season firing up this past weekend at various local speedways, the countdown to Western PA Speedweek is now officially on with just five weeks remaining until the May 31st opener at Knox Raceway. With the anticipation sure to grow as the days wind down, fans can again expect the bulk of their local racing heroes to be in attendance along with a host of outsiders that continue to show interest and enthusiasm.
